The United States Reformation Prayer Network has implementied a national prayer strategy called "ROOT 52". This prayer initiative is a 52-week prayer strategy to bring the nation back to its covenant roots.
During the first two weeks of 2010, all 50 states will stand together to fast and pray for our national leadership and national governmental structure. Then, we will move forward with each state network continuing to fast and pray with a focus on government leadership and the seven mountains. The torch of prayer and fasting will go "en route" from state to state in the sequence that they came to form the United States of America, until we complete 52 weeks, equaling 1 year.

Jerusalem, stand up! Shine! Your new day is dawning. The glory of the LORD shines brightly on you. The earth and its people are covered with darkness, but the glory of the LORD is shining upon you. Nations and kings will come to the light of your dawning day. Open your eyes! Look around! Crowds are coming. Your sons are on their way from distant lands; your daughters are being carried like little children. When you see this, your faces will glow; your hearts will pound and swell with pride. Treasures from across the sea and the wealth of nations will be brought to you.

My dad used to say that a time is coming when it will be the best of the best and the worst of the worst. I believe that we are in the beginning of those times. For those who trust in the Lord it will be the best of the best, but for those who don’t it will be the worst of the worst. We are in a time when the world is raging all around us, but we can be at peace because the prince of peace, a peace that passes all understanding, lives inside of us. As the world is raging and groaning and darkness is all around we are to bring light into a dark and dying world, the light of life, Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world.
We believe that a triumphant reserve is being raised up in this hour, a people who have been trained and equipped for such a time as this to release the glory of God in the earth. We think that God is bringing us to a deeper place of faith and trust in him and if we will quit looking at the world around us with our natural eyes and begin to see with our spiritual eyes then we will begin to see the eternal things of God and become kingdom minded. You may see dry bones but I see an army!
