The Gathering was birthed out of Wayne Swensons heart, pastor of The Bridge in Moscow Mills, to see like minded churches who move in house of prayer type prayer meetings to gather together and corporately join together as the Ekklesia to lift our voices to heaven on behalf of our nation. Mat 16:18-19 says "So I will call you Peter. On this rock I will build my church, and death itself will not have any power over it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and God in heaven will allow whatever you allow on earth. But he will not allow anything that you don't allow. " We are to be the church or the ekklesia which means "a legislative assembly". We need to begin to come together as a legislative assembly in the heavenly relm to begin to destroy the works of the enemy. Eph 6:12 says "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. " It is time for the ekklesia, the church, to begin to awaken, arise, and take its place, legislate from a place of God's presence, use the keys of the kingdom and say we are a people who will not allow lawlessness and we are a people who will stand for justice and for what is right.

I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you and praise your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your saints shall bless you!

God has been faithful as He has moved us into a new season. I have begun to work full time again and Bethany has gone back to school full time. Even though our lives seem to be busier we are going deeper in God and He is doing so much in our lives, our family and the church. It is incredible the journey He will take you on if you allow Him too. His love never fails and He gives hope to the hopeless. I see God moving us into the things that have been prophesied long ago and see people awakening and growing in Him and in his strength. I see joy arising and dreams being fulfilled in the coming days and if we will pursue Him and His presence, getting to know Him through His word and time spent with Him we will be world changers like Peter and Paul were. I pray that you would have a hunger and a desire to run after God as He runs after you and that you be filled with His goodness, peace and presence.
